Meadow Green Stables is situated on 115 acres of land in Loudoun, Winnipeg. They’re one of the leading horse riding and boarding facilities in Manitoba.

They offer riding lessons for children and adults. We like that it’s not just all about riding a horse–they also aim to instill equine education.

This includes activities such as stable care, equine first aid, bathing and braiding, and other horse-related activities. We also like that their place has an indoor and outdoor riding area and a heated viewing room.

As for their lessons, they offer group, semi-private, and private lessons. Their riding lessons are ideal for all skill levels. Beginners and advanced learners are welcome to join the classes.

We’re also impressed that their trainers have decades of experience and skills in teaching and competing in the show ring.

However, it’s a downside that they don’t have info about their rates online. You need to inquire through email or phone to get a quote on their services.

Despite that, we like that Meadow Green Stables provide services for birthday parties. Their package includes the use of the party and viewing room and horseback riding lessons.

They also organize camps that encourage the love of horses and how to ride one properly. This is available for ages six and above.

Sagehill Stables is an excellent place

“Sagehill Stables is an excellent place. I returned to riding after approximately 15 years away from the sport and Sagehill Stables has been extremely welcoming and inclusive, especially as a slightly larger adult rider, which had been a fear of mine. The school horses seem to be well cared for and the facility is gorgeous. The coaches and staff are top notch. Highly recommend this place, whether it’s a Healing Beyond Words session, or you are looking to learn to ride or get back into it after an extended hiatus.”Morgan Arnott, Google Reviews

He is in love with their horses and enjoying every time he goes

“My son is attending June day camps and loving them.  He is in love with their horses and enjoying every time he goes.  As a parent, the people there are very friendly with us and our child, and they are also taking great care to ensure both animals and humans are being kept safe as we gradually re-open programming in our province.  I feel comfortable and confident allowing my son to attend and know that he is in good hands and having a lot of fun.”Jillian, Google Reviews

WW Stables is a riding facility established by Wendy Robinson. She has over 30 years of experience in the horse industry, and she’s a certified Equine Canada Level II Coach.

The first thing we like about WW Stables is that their location is easily accessible. They’re situated near Assiniboine Forest and Fort Whyte Nature Center.

Another notable thing about this entry is their wide range of offerings. They provide non pro coaching, youth horse riding coaching, horse training, and horse riding judging, just to name a few.

In addition to their programs, they also sell horses to their customers. Interested buyers can learn more about the horses on their website.

As for their riding lessons, they offer these for all skill levels and ages. These programs are available as private or group sessions.

And if you own a horse, you’re free to ride them during the lesson. Otherwise, you can ride one of their school horses.

We also like that they have pricing info online. A lesson for a single person costs $50, but if they have their own horse, the rate is $40 only.

For a group of five, a riding lesson that lasts for 1-2 hours costs $210. They also offer a private lesson priced at $75 per hour.

To top it off, we think that WW Stable is a great place to train for horse riding competitions since the owner is a hands-on coach and trainer.  She’s a certified coach and evaluator with successful show experience in American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Open All-Around Awards and many more.

This was absolutely the best horseback riding experience

“This was absolutely the best horseback riding experience. The staff are friendly, courteous and experienced. Upon arrival we were fitted with our hats, and saddled up on gentle horses. Staff are patient with smaller children which is appreciated. The horses are well kept, fed and looking very healthy unlike other places we have been too. We were given proper training and guidance inside the stable prior to heading on the trails. Loren was our guide and she was wonderful. She gave very detailed instructions and helped everyone understand the life of horses. Thanks to everyone on the ranch. We will definitely be back soon.”Pam Smith, Google Reviews

The trail was beautiful

“Amazing experience! The guide was very informative and really helped us understand the horse we were assigned to and learn to control it ourselves. The trail was beautiful. Our group will definitely return more often.”Miriam Stoll, Google Reviews
