SM Rukunujjaman
SM Rukunujjaman, originally hailing from Bangladesh, moved to Winnipeg to study Computer Science at the University of Manitoba. While juggling the requirements of his degree, SM also works as a tutor at Tutorbright Teaching Company, helping guide students all over Canada in their science and math subjects. 

When he’s not at work or in school, SM is fond of exploring the Winnipeg landscape and spends his time playing soccer, cricket, and hockey in the city’s best sports facilities. His passion for learning and helping others motivates him to constantly unravel the gems of Winnipeg and share his discoveries with locals and tourists alike.
Zeel Modi
Zeel Modi
Zeel Modi is a student at the University of Manitoba, pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with minors in Economics. 

He juggles his academic requirements with a job as a retail sales associate at Mark's Canada, which allows him to interact with customers and ensure they have a pleasant shopping experience. A people person, Zeel took the job because of his love for meeting new people and making friends. 

When he’s not at school or work, Zeel reveals his more adventurous nature, exploring new places and trying fun activities in Winnipeg. You can count on him to be the first person to show up at a newly opened restaurant, already sampling the menu and writing up a review. 

A passionate extrovert, Zeel’s hobbies include ice skating, skiing, and actively participating in festivals and community events in Winnipeg.

Ivy Simard is a writer with a master's degree in Marketing Communications. After completing her education, she proceeded to work in digital marketing. In her line of work, she can be very creative. Outside of work, however, she is quite grounded and conscientious. Ivy always looks at the two sides of a coin, learning the pros and cons of things before making any decisions. She almost never takes things as they are and probes deeper to uncover more.  This nature led her to use her writing education and skills to assess local businesses, offering her honest opinions about products and services she encounters.

Katie May Warriner has lived in Winnipeg all of her life. Despite that, she admits she still finds things in it that astonish her on occasion. While she recently moved to a location outside of the city to experience country living with her growing family, she still lives close enough to continue finding the best things about Winnipeg for us. When she’s not discovering new things about her hometown, she’s spending time with her four kids, as well as the family pets: a Rottweiler Terrier named Dottie and a cat named Chicken.

Mya White was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She is a graduate of a Sociology degree from one of Canada’s top universities. She is very passionate about humanitarian work and spends her time volunteering in local charities, soup kitchens, and nursing homes. She also participates in environmental advocacy events whenever she can. Mya loves giving back to her community and is always looking for ways to contribute and offer a helping hand. Whether it means spending her days off packing goods for emergency assistance or trying out local businesses and assessing their services, Mya is always on the hunt for ways to make life more comfortable for others.

Natalie Girard is an Interior Designer originally from Vancouver. When she opened her own firm, she found herself traveling frequently, working with clients all around Canada. A couple of years ago, she landed a project in Winnipeg, and that was when she fell in love with the city. After completing her project, she packed up her things and moved. As an interior designer, Natalie has a keen eye for detail, which she uses intently when exploring new businesses and services in the new place she calls home. When she's not working, she uses her time sharing her explorations with family and friends online.
