Explore a Local Night Market in the Alleyways of Winnipeg’s Exchange District on August 22, 2025
Every third Friday of the month in 2025, the alleyways of the Winnipeg Exchange District transform into a vibrant community space with open-air markets, live performances, and art exhibits.
The next pop-up lands on August 22, so mark your calendars!
From 5 PM to 10 PM, Elvin Avenue and Bertha Street will be packed with stalls, offering everything from local produce and handmade jewelry to clothing, books, and more.
We like that there’s no shortage of delicious treats. From doughnuts to ice popsicles, we can easily find a quick snack to fuel our shopping adventure.

Once we’re done perusing the stalls, we always like to hang around the art lounge before watching the live performances. Since they’re just a couple of blocks away from each other, you should explore other events, too.
On August 22, the art exhibits will take over 100 Arthur Street, while live performances will fill up 189 Bannatyne Avenue. If you’re in the mood for dancing, you can head over to 65 Albert Street, where they’ll be doing the tango from 6 PM to 10 PM.
Admission to all events is free. Even your pets are welcome to the party, so don’t miss out!
