A few years ago, he retired and shut down his small, private practice, so I had to look for a new clinic. Because there are plenty of options in Winnipeg, it was a little difficult to navigate.
To narrow down my search, I reviewed different clinics, compared services, and read reviews. This led me to the best option for my budget and lifestyle.

Downtown Winnipeg Dental Center, now known as Mynt Dental after a merger, might look a little different, but it still has its original team of dentists. As always, they’re friendly, respectful, and very professional.
The clinic offers services to adults and children in the Charleswood area. It’s conveniently located in a mall, where you can dine and run errands before your appointment.
What we like most about the merger is the upgrade in the facilities and amenities. You can use their massage chairs and watch Netflix to calm your nerves while waiting.
More importantly, their use of state-of-the-art dental technology will maximize comfort during procedures and improve treatment outcomes.
Clients shared that the staff made the experience stress-free. From booking appointments to facilitating insurance plans, they’ll help you in any way they can.
On the downside, wait times can be long, especially on Mondays and Fridays.

As for us, we were really impressed with customer support. The staff offers multilingual services in English, Punjabi, Tagalog, and Hindi, making it easier for both local and foreign patients to understand the procedures.
We also like that they’ll call or send automated reminders to notify patients about an upcoming appointment.
Just keep in mind that there have been complaints about some staff members who were rude.

What we appreciate the most is Westend’s flexible financing options, which remove barriers to essential dental treatments. This also makes emergency services more accessible, preventing small issues from becoming costly problems.
If you have an infection, constant bleeding, or an injury to your mouth, the staff can arrange a same-day appointment for immediate treatment.
Clients say that the entire team is wonderful. Aside from making them feel comfortable, they’re very attentive and accommodating.
However, communication gaps could still be a problem. There was one instance when a patient was running late to an appointment, and the staff canceled it before confirming.

When we asked around, clients mentioned that the short wait times made them really happy. They were able to squeeze in a routine check-up on a busy weekday.
We think the staff is the cherry on top of their patient-centered service. Because many of them have been working here for years, they know how to make the experience stress-free for everyone.
On the other hand, a few patients weren’t too pleased with the chatty staff members.
