The 5 Best Muay Thai Gyms in Winnipeg That’ll Kick Your Butt Into Shape

Coaching quality: Training with a qualified instructor can help you learn the proper techniques safely and quickly. That’s why we chose gyms that have skilled and experienced teachers.

Class variety: We made sure that these spots offer Muay Thai classes for all skill levels, from beginner-friendly programs to advanced sparring sessions.

Gym culture and environment: To reduce the risk of safety and health concerns, we picked spaces that are clean and well-maintained. They also have a welcoming and supportive environment, perfect for beginners who feel intimidated when starting out.

Reputation: After going over customer feedback and ratings, we were able to gauge the quality of their facilities and services. We picked the local favorites.

Over the years, I’ve made many attempts to get into the habit of working out, which included scheduling non-refundable mandatory sessions at the gym. I’ve always managed to drag myself to a couple of classes, but not enough to turn it into a routine.

Just a couple of months ago, a colleague suggested that I enroll in a Muay Thai program. He said that the disciplined yet encouraging social environment might help me break the habit of skipping workouts.

When I was looking for the right gym for my needs, I compared different programs and facilities. I also went over customer feedback to gauge the quality of their services.

Here are my top picks, along with my reviews, that should help in your search.

With a regular gym membership, the cost of Muay Thai classes in Winnipeg may range between $85 to $150 per month.

Solid training and all-around amazing environment

I’ve had the honour of being a member at this club for almost 20 years and consider the members and Master Hodge my family. My daughter has tagged along with me since she was a baby and has been training here for the last two years and has made strong friendships with the other kids who train here as well. I look forward to watching her train over the years to come and grow within the sport. So many wonderful memories. Master Hodge’s wisdom has been invaluable in and out of the ring. Everyone helps one another excel. Solid training and an all around amazing environment.

The vibe in the gym is extremely welcoming with a sense of community

Sir Hodge is a gem of a teacher with decades of experience under his belt. The vibe in the gym is extremely welcoming with a sense of community. The training is intense, you can hear the beautiful sound of pads & bags being smashed or ropes being skipped. If you are here to put in real work, learn skills and grow while being surrounded by good people & a solid coach. Welcome to your second home.
