Griffith Plaster and Stucco is a prime contractor for stucco siding, paint jobs, and home restorations.
They specialise in exterior stucco siding and repairs and use traditional and acrylic types to accommodate different building designs.
We love how Griffith’s stucco services aren’t limited to the residential setting. We looked into its other works and found stellar samples of commercial stucco finishes.
Besides the availability of different stucco types, Griffith also does stucco restorations. We think this service is excellent for remodelling Mediterranean-style homes or concealing hairline cracks from old walls while upgrading the home’s design!
Now, if you’re interested in hiring Griffith’s stucco services, we recommend getting quote estimations for free via its online form. You’ll be given a potential cost of the materials, labourers’ fees, and project.
Perhaps a slight downside is that there are no mentions of stucco services being available for interiors. Suppose you want to have textured walls inside your home, we recommend enquiring whether the contractors do stucco finishes indoors.
We were also a bit iffy about some reports on the stucco not lasting longer than a few months. From what we were told, some clients experienced having their plaster crack, chip, and fall off, most likely due to inadequate curing time.
In that regard, we’re pleased that Griffith takes the extra mile in offering to redo the stucco plasters with a longer and proper curing time.
Pros
- Quote estimations are free
- Does stucco restorations
Cons
- No mentions of interior stucco services
- Feedback on stucco finish not being cured well

“Incredibly impressed with the work that was provided. Brandan was professional, friendly, and worked hard to get the job done. We were always kept informed on the project. We will definitely be using his services again in the future and will be recommending him to family and friends. Love the way our house looks!” – Andrea Anania

The Madani Group is another noteworthy contractor in Winnipeg that specialises in stucco sidings, paint jobs, and commercial painting projects.
We looked into its previous projects and are pleased with the examples of its different services. We recommend checking out their portfolio to find inspiration for your future home remodelling projects.
What we love about Madani is that it doesn’t just offer quote estimations for free, but it also gives upfront prices for the materials and projects.
And from what we’ve heard, the contractor mentions any excess and takes it out of the final bill, which many previous customers praise.
Besides the honesty in pricing, Madani also takes extra steps in using eco-friendly paints and plaster in every project.
We appreciate this as the contractor doesn’t just provide stucco and paint jobs that are stunning and long-lasting, but also do not harm the planet.
Perhaps a downside is that Madani might not yet accommodate stucco finishes for indoors, based on what we’ve seen of their work so far.
A bigger drawback we’ve heard of though are instances of the contractor not responding to clients right away, which leads to a delay in services.
From what we were told, some previous clients had to call and email Madani a few days before their scheduled date to remind the contractor about their appointment, only to be disappointed because they apparently forgot about it.
Pros
- Gives upfront prices
- Uses eco-friendly products
Cons
- Stucco services might be limited to exteriors
- Instances of lack of response and delay in services
Customer Reviews
A pleasant stucco experience overall
“Where do I begin? The entire experience of getting our stucco repainted on our home exterior was very impressive. Our neighbours had Madani Group for their home a year earlier, and we thought it looked great so we got a quote. It did take a while to get the job done due to the pandemic and paint shortage issues (common in all industries) but it was worth the wait! It is an expense getting this project done professionally, but it’s SO important to get the right result. The crew was great (you can tell they get along and work well together, as a team) and did such an amazing job of prepping the exterior by making repairs, protecting all other surfaces, and taping off the areas required. It was an all-day job, and we couldn’t wait to come outside and check out the final product. AMAZING! What a difference it can make to your home – an instant facelift! This company truly cares about quality, and they take the time to do it right! Not all companies are created equal and some paint products done by other companies don’t wear well either, so buyer beware. Madani Group did a great job and I have to give them 5 stars, despite the wait to get it done. They are very busy and I now understand why. I hope this review helps your search.” – Gayle
Restored our old stucco siding in two days
“This crew is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely hard working. They told us that the back of our house would be painted in one day, and they worked hard in +30 heat to complete it from 7:30 am to 7 pm-ish. It was not an easy job. The previous owner painted unprepped wood siding which had been HORRENDOUSLY peeling, so the crew spent ages scraping off as much as they could, they came 2 days before to pressure wash off the old paint as well. Since the wood was untreated, they ended up priming the house w/o an additional charge, as it was not on the original quote. There were lots of old wooden details (the corbels under the roof line) and there were so many windows with trim to paint! The house looks fantastic and we are so happy. They made the back of our house happy and look alive again. We will definitely be reaching out to this company when we are ready to paint the rest of the house. Thank you Madani Group!” – Tripti Prasad

When it comes to painting jobs for all parts of a home, Painters Direct will be your best friend. In fact, this contractor’s stucco services go beyond applying plaster and painting exteriors and interiors.
We learned that this contractor also offers parging (to prep surfaces for masonry), replacing rotten woodwork, repairing old or loose stucco work, and power-washing stucco surfaces.
A closer look at its portfolio will reveal examples of stunning stucco sidings and cultured stones from previous clients. Old stucco surfaces brought to life are also showcased in the contractor’s “before and after” gallery.
Interested clients can just fill out the online form to ask for free quote estimates and mention the services they want done.
What we love about Painters Direct is that it employs a team of expert stucco builders and colour consultants. They’ll assess your property first, then come up with recommendations that will work with your home and plans well.
The assessment may also lead to finding foundational faults, loose stucco surfaces, and rotten woodwork that will need immediate repairs, so we give them plus points for proper due diligence.
A word of caution, though – a handful of clients mentioned of some of the stucco falling off just a few weeks after installation.
And while some hairline cracks can be DIYed, we’ve heard that getting to the contractor to return for professional repairs and redos was tricky. Apparently, the builders sometimes didn’t respond to emails or texts, or miss calls altogether.
Given that it markets repairs, we think Painters Direct should be prompt and responsive to clients hiring its repair services, especially if the stucco coatings its builders worked on have issues.
Pros
- Does stucco work on various surfaces
- Assesses properties fully to evaluate necessary work to be done
Cons
- A handful of reports on stucco falling off
- Instances of lack of response
Customer Reviews
Workers were meticulous to all project aspects
“Doug Prins and the team at Painters Direct provided me with exceptional service and care. They repaired the stucco on my home like professional artists. Their attention to detail–from quoting to communicating and results–is second-to-none. I would highly recommend them to my closest friends and family, and the reason would be trust.” – Gordon Mountbatten
Hiring them again was worth it
“Doug and his experts came to the rescue again!! We needed some stucco repair done, and Doug was lightning fast with his professional and friendly response. The work was completed long before promised, even despite materials shortage and they went the extra mile (literally) to source the requisite materials to get the job done. Doug’s quotation is more than reasonable; the clean-up was so good again that one would not have noticed that work was even done. We would definitely continue to use Direct Painters for any future stucco work.” – L.T. Wong

Looking for professionals to redo loose and patchy stucco on heritage properties? Then Perry Wellington Painting and Decorating Winnipeg is the stucco contractor for you.
It does all sorts of interior and exterior painting finishes for new and old properties. For stucco works, the contractor inspects for any foundational errors before power washing the surface for the new stucco to be applied.
On the other hand, while Perry Wellington offers stucco repairs, its stucco services for older properties might have limitations.
For example, if the hairline cracks require more than washing and reapplying new coats of plaster, then the contractor might suggest other necessary steps to prepare the property before doing the stucco remodelling.
You might also have to hire other repair specialists to prep the surfaces you want to have stucco textures on.
On the bright side, if your old property is viable for power washing and new stucco coats, Perry Wellington will be more than happy to upgrade your sidings.
We love how the contractor can do stucco on various surfaces, such as masonry, concrete, or stone. You don’t need to shell out to change your wall’s materials to have new stucco finishes put!
Another thing we love about this contractor is that it offers initial estimations for free. And should you be interested in hiring this stucco builder, it accepts payments via cash, check, e-transfer, and credit card.
That said, do note that the credit card option entails a three-percent convenience fee no matter the cost and scale of the project.

Cons
- Stucco work on old properties may have limitations
- 3% convenience fee for credit card transactions
Customer Reviews
A smooth stucco experience from beginning to the end
“We contracted Perry Wellington to paint our stucco. From beginning to end our experience was very good. The quote was completed promptly and was fair compared to other quotes we got. Despite some weather delays, work was completed within a reasonable time frame. Lloyd was very good about communicating with scheduling updates. The painters were professional and took a lot of care in preparing the house properly for the job. We are very happy with the quality of work and would recommend Perry Wellington to others.” – Michelle McLarty-Paul
Excellent stucco work on our old house
“We contacted Perry Wellington to provide a quote to paint the exterior of our 100-year-old house. The stucco had been painted once before but had not weathered well. The quote was reasonable and better than the others we received. The price included power washing, priming, and painting with high-quality paints. Painting the trim was included. The crew that showed up was professional, capable, and prompt. The power washing needed to be done 3 times as the old paint had chalked up so badly and could not be cleaned easily. The crew was usually there by 7 AM and the entire painting job was completed within a couple of days. The clean-up was meticulous and the only indication that we had work done was the beautiful change of color of our house The only delay we had was due to the weather being so hot that it would be unsafe for the painters to work and the paint would have dried before it hit the walls. I am very pleased with the work, the painters and the price. I was consulted each day as to what was going on and what needed to be done. I was asked to voice any concerns I had and any concerns I did have were addressed promptly and to my satisfaction. I have recommended Perry Wellington to my friends who were looking to have their homes painted and know that at least one has hired them and has also been pleased with their work. I would hire them again.” – Tom O.

6. Integrity Painting & Decorating Inc.

Integrity Painting and Decorating does stucco sidings, as well as paint jobs for exterior and interior walls.
We’re also pleased that it provides estimation requests that are free of charge and upfront prices for all of its projects.
These services are suitable for old and new properties, although you might need to hire repair contractors to deal with more significant damages before redoing the stucco.
Perhaps our favourite part of this contractor’s services is that it offers warranties for its stucco and painting projects, which last two years.
While this may seem too short, the manufacturers of the paints and plasters used may offer longer warranties to clients.
On the downside, getting stucco repaired under a warranty can be tricky, especially if your home experiences shifting.
From what we’ve heard, clients had to prove that the cracks and other damages were due to the stucco being faulty and not due to shifting, which can be burdensome. Any settling or foundational damage isn’t covered by this contractor’s warranties.
Another drawback we found is that while this contractor stays true to its promise to provide beautiful and strong stucco, they apparently work at a slow pace, which sometimes leads to delays.
That said, we think the contractors should commit to their schedule since a delay in the stucco application and curing may lead to more damage and perhaps more costs for the client.
Pros
- Requests for estimates are free of charge
- Offers warranties
Cons
- Difficult to prove cause of damage
- Slow pace can lead to project delays
