Celebrate Indigenous Artists in Winnipeg at the 2025 Sakihiwe Festival
The 2025 Sakihiwe Festival is fast approaching, and we don’t want you to miss out. On June 28 and 29, Winnipeg can enjoy free live concerts, BBQ parties, and other fun, family-friendly activities.
We’re looking forward to the musical performances of talented indigenous artists. Although they’ve yet to announce the full lineup, we know that Niya, Angela Amarualik, Juurini, RayTheNihilist, and more will be hitting the stage.
The concerts will take place from 1 PM to 9 PM on both days, while the marketplaces will open from 1 PM to 8 PM.

Like in previous years, we expect the music festival to have limited seating. We suggest bringing your own chairs or blankets, so you can watch the live performances comfortably.
Admission to the Sakihiwe Festival is free. Best of all, they’ll be serving barbecue and other delicious food on the house.
