Note that it might take several weeks or months to work. We heard complaints from patients who saw no results after seven days.

Chiropractic care is another forte here, treating musculoskeletal conditions using non-invasive adjustments.

A nice bonus is that they offer direct billing to Blue Cross, Great-West Life, GreenShield, and Sun Life.

Outcome after only 3 months has been quite impressive!

“I went to the “Centre for Natural Pain Solutions”, and Dr Sean Ceaser provided me with platelet-rich plasma treatment for my severely degenerated disc in my neck. It had gotten to the point where I couldn’t do much of anything anymore, without a lot of pain. I went for one session with multiple injection spots, including my neck, shoulders, arms, and legs. Although I had an unusually high inflammatory response that lasted for a month (Less than 1% experience this), my outcome after only 3 months has been quite impressive! I have resumed many regular activities again with almost zero pain … which seldom happens anymore. I also must mention the very attentive care I received from Dr Ceaser himself. He genuinely cares and listens closely. When I had the unusually high inflammatory response, he even offered to do a couple of complimentary follow-up calls at no charge to check in on me to see how I was doing and to offer further help. I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for an alternative natural treatment. They offer many kinds of alternative treatments for a wide variety of health conditions.”

My balance is better, and overall, I feel stronger

“I’ve been going to the centre for natural pain solutions since August 2023. I originally went for pain related to recovering from a stroke. I am now seeing Dr. Ceaser for help with my recovery from my stroke. I am receiving a PEMF treatment, and it is really helping my nervous system recover faster than if I weren’t receiving the treatment. My walking is better. My balance is better, and overall I feel stronger. Dr. Ceaser and the staff at CNPS are incredibly friendly and helpful. I appreciate it so much. Five stars!”

The clinic is headed by Jason Monix, who has treated athletes from all over the sports world. These include the Canadian Major Indoor Soccer League, the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, Disney on Ice, and pro teams in the NHL, MLS, and NHL.

For chronic pain relief, his clinic leans on manual therapy, a hands-on technique that helps reduce pain, improve mobility, and break up scar tissue.

As for foot and ankle injuries, they focus on rebuilding strength and joint mobility through targeted stretching and conditioning.

The only downside I’ve heard about is reports of misdiagnoses from former patients, which can be frustrating.

  • Composed of skilled physiotherapists
  • Treated athletes from famous teams
  • Addresses chronic pain relief

Cons

Decreased my pain immensely

“Raymond from South Sherbrooke Therapy is an excellent and super knowledgeable physiotherapist. I started seeing him with debilitating pain in both of my hands and arms from a desk-related injury, and working with him for 6 months decreased my pain immensely and allowed me to resume my normal activities. Getting treatment for chronic pain sucks, but Raymond made physio fun and easy to follow.”

Most skilled massage therapist

“Roksolana is the most skilled massage therapist I have ever seen. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I see her regularly to help manage chronic pain and stress. She always applies the perfect amount of pressure. She targets specific areas of tension, but does not create more pain, which is something I often experience with other therapists. She leaves me feeling completely relaxed after every session. She also doesn’t neglect any areas of the body, including the hands and feet. Stephanie is an exceptional physiotherapist. I came to her with many complex chronic pain issues. She listened with patience, compassion, and never made me feel rushed. I really appreciate the care she put into providing me with detailed, thoughtful at-home exercises and resources. Her mind-body approach helped me understand how my thoughts and emotions were perpetuating chronic symptoms. Thanks to Stephanie I have a renewed sense of safety and confidence in my body, and I approach movement with way less fear. I highly recommend both of these incredibly skilled therapists.”

The process starts with a complimentary phone consultation. You’ll share your health history and figure out your goals before committing to anything.

Afterward, you’ll get an in-depth exam to see if you’re a good fit for their Robotic Class Laser Spinal Decompression treatment. This can target spinal issues like herniated discs, degenerative disc disease, and sciatica.

An alternative treatment is Hydrowave therapy, which delivers focused sound waves to the painful area, helping your body heal naturally by boosting blood flow.

Granted, they offer a limited range of pain management treatments compared to other facilities. But if laser decompression’s your thing, this is the place to do it.

Pros

The spinal decompression treatments were a success!!

“I reached out to Dr. Buffie while lying on the floor, trying to relieve spasms in my lower back for the second week. It wasn’t working this time. Usually, a couple of days on the floor, and I was good. I struggled to get out of bed without a spasm or two. I was at my wits’ end. I went to Dr. Buffie’s office and did not regret it! After my first session, I felt relief from the tension in my back. The next morning was the first morning in weeks that I did not have spasms. I was still stiff from weeks of muscle ache, but the spinal decompression treatments were a success!! I highly recommend it to anyone who can relate to what I’ve been going through for over 20 years. I’ve done 10 Decompression sessions now, and I haven’t felt this good in a long time. Thank you, Dr. Buffie!!”

Noticed significant improvement within 10 treatments

“When I started treatment here, I was unable to walk around the block without starting to feel pain in my lower back, and nothing could stop it other than just lying down for a bit. Within the first 10 treatments, I had noticed significant improvement. Within the first 20, I am not only walking the block without any issues I just spent 3 days building a fence, hauling lumber and stones around the yard, and staying on my feet for 12 hours. Laser spinal decompression and the work of this clinic absolutely turned everything around for me quicker than I ever could have imagined. I just wish I had heard of them sooner.”

My back feels better than it did 20 years ago

“Total Rehabilitation is the right name for this business. I had an injury to my back. Slipped disc with the most intense sciatic pain. The classic, “some people never recover.” “If it doesn’t improve, we will look into surgery.” Wanseok Choe was not easy on me. He did the charged acupuncture needles, cupping, cracking, full range of exercises. I joke that it was like that rack torture scene from the Princess Bride, but in a good way. Anyway, I saw him regularly, stuck to his exercises, and today my back feels better than it did 20 years ago. Sounds corny, but it’s true. Just a kind dude too.”

My chronic neck pain has improved tremendously!!

“I have been seeing Jeff at this clinic for about 2 months. After YEARS of regular chiropractic appointments and massages, my chronic neck pain has improved tremendously!! Not only is Jeff very knowledgeable and empathetic, but his treatment sessions are thorough. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a physiotherapist or if you have been visiting therapists with little success!! I haven’t booked a massage appointment yet, but that’s definitely next on my list!!”

His treatments greatly help reduce my pain levels

“Jeff is a physiotherapist whom I will follow anywhere. I suffer from chronic pain, with a mix of autoimmune arthritis and old military injuries. Jeff is able to manage the issues my body has and keep me functional. His treatments greatly help reduce my pain levels. The dry needling has been key for me. Not comfortable during the dry needling treatment, but absolutely worth it, as I can feel the seized muscles around my joints relax.”
