Compared to our first pick on this list, Sweet Impressions is fairly new to the industry. And although the bakery was established in 2008, it’s grown to have two shops in the city.
What we like about Sweet Impressions is that it prides itself in being an allergy-friendly bakery. In fact, all its cakes are 100% nut-free — plus, it has vegan and flourless options too.
The shop makes cupcakes, doughnuts, cookies, and of course, a myriad of luxury, decorated, and traditional bakery cakes. It even offers tiny, smash cakes to make your kid’s first birthday messier, but sweeter.
We are also fond of Sweet Impression’s seasonal cakes. Whether it’s a graduation, father’s day, valentines day, or Christmas, it has the perfect cake to go along with any celebration.
However, unless you’re ordering a multi-tiered cake, most of its cakes max out at 7 to 8 inches only. But adding its $20 cookie topper to write your message will make it look taller.
Also, the shop does not work with fondant and gum paste. So if you want a customized cake with a very specific design, chances are, you’re going to have to compromise.
On the other hand, Sweet Impressions’ delivery is from Tuesday to Sunday. However, it’s only open from 10 AM to 3 PM, which we think is a little bit restrictive.

Delicious cakes
The cakes are a perfect size and we NEVER have leftovers – which makes me kind of sad because we want more, we will either have to start sizing up our orders or eating less the day of?! Lol! Some flavors will be sweeter than others – they’re mimicking things like candy/sweets and the non-baked good versions are equally as sweet but they’re still so good – the Deadpool cake was cotton candy – tastes exactly like cotton candy in all its sugary goodness!
