But first things first – Dr. Avi Islur is a specialist here worth noting. He is an esteemed aesthetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon that has performed over 10,000 beauty procedures.

As an oculoplastic surgeon, Dr. Islur currently does blepharoplasty and under eye filler treatments.

One of the favourable points of The First Glance is that it does upper and lower eyelid surgeries, which we think is ideal for those who want beautiful eye shapes and facial features.

We also like that the clinic also does under eye filler treatments as it is non-invasive and ideal for eliminating puffiness, bags, and dark circles.

How should I prepare for my surgery?

That way, you’ll experience less swelling during the procedure and in your after-care process. Plus, a healthy blood flow means faster and better healing.
Protect yourself from the sun – Use sunglasses, sunscreen with at least 30 SPF, and a hat to protect your face from the sun.
Not only will you reduce wrinkling and skin cancer, but you’ll also reduce swelling and further skin or tissue damage while you heal after your operation.
Prepare your recovery space – Since you’ll be temporarily blind after your operation, we recommend preparing your recovery space weeks before your scheduled procedure.
Set up an area where you can lie down with your head elevated; this will help blood flow better and reduce swelling around the eye area.
Consider having someone to look after you while you heal since your vision will be obstructed most of the time.

Who are good candidates for oculoplastic surgery?

In general, patients at least 30 years old or over with no known eye conditions and who have good health records are eligible for oculoplasty.
Before any procedure, oculoplastic surgeons will likely ask potential patients if they have eye diseases (e.g. glaucoma, dry eye, or detached retina) or other ailments (e.g. thyroid problems, cardiovascular diseases, or diabetes, among others).

Will I have scars after my surgery?
