Cons

Great experience and customized service

I had a very good experience with the Bailey Nelson location in Winnipeg. The first appointment with the doctor and staff was excellent. Everyone was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Good selection of frames and very good prices. My glasses were ready earlier than their estimated timeline. My appointment with the optician was excellent. She was very experienced and made a number of adjustments to both pairs of glasses. I have never had any glasses that felt like they were so customized. I felt like everyone worked together to make sure I walked out with products I was happy with.

Exceptional experience and outstanding optical service

In my 40+ years of wearing glasses this was hands down my most pleasant experience.

Staff up front was extremely friendly and helpful, never pushy, impatient or insistent.

Dr. Haley Boswick is THE BEST optometrist I have ever had the pleasure of being helped by. Thoughtful, professional, kind and oh so good at her job- she directed me wonderfully through an experience that’s always been pretty awkward, confusing and uncomfortable.

I’ve avoided regular visits to have my eyes checked all my life until it became unavoidable but my experience at Polo Park Bailey Nelson has utterly turned me around.

Professional and highly recommended care

I have been a patient of Dr Livingston for many years and every visit is a very positive experience. His professionalism, and communication of exam procedures, explanations of findings and options if needed is excellent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for a good optician.

Welcoming clinic and informative care

In-depth discussion and preventive eye care

Visited Academy Optical since their hours are more compatible with my schedule. I was very pleasantly surprised! At previous places, I’ve always felt as though I wasn’t receiving an in depth discussion despite asking questions but Dr Dhaliwal provided me with a lot of information regarding my eye health that I didn’t know previously. She was also very focused on how I can improve the current health of my eyes and focused on prevention which is something that I’ve never discussed with other opticians, which I appreciated a lot.

Wonderful experience and excellent service

I had a wonderful experience at Academy Optical. Both the Optometrist and the Optician were very helpful and shared their expertise. A large variety of glasses to choose from and excellent service throughout. I am very comfortable going back with any questions or adjustments required and will return for my next eye exam and glasses purchase.
