Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Arts is an independent music school with a wide range of programs. They have lessons in piano, cello, saxophone, clarinet, and singing, to name a few.
Their courses are split into Kids and Adults, with the former being more introductory. Young children are introduced to musical concepts and encouraged to find the beat.

But despite already having 2 centers to choose from, they’re still very flexible with their class formats. Clients can either opt for in-person sessions, online, or a hybrid of the two.
Their instructors have experience teaching a variety of genres and songs, ranging from current top 1 hits to classical arias. They’ll also help you with techniques like pitch management, voice projection, and repertoire development.
We love that the company holds a “low-pressure” recital every year in June. Students can join if they wish to, and they can change their minds at the last minute if they get too nervous.
Sadly, they don’t issue refunds for lessons that you paid for in advance. It’s either they’ll be forfeited or fulfilled by the student.
