What We’re Most Excited About at Festival du Voyageur 2025

Are you ready for Winnipeg’s annual francophone event? In 2025, the festival will kick off on Valentine’s Day, February 14, and run through February 23, bringing you 10 straight days of fun, laughter, and cheer.

While there’s so much to look forward to, I’m most excited about the musical performances. Year after year, the festival never fails to impress with its eclectic lineup of talent, and 2025 promises to be no different.

During the day, families can groove to lively children’s music and entertainment. But when night falls, the stages come alive with unforgettable performances by artists like Leif Vollebekk, Emma Worley, The Barr Brothers, and Cheikh Ibra Fam.

Of course, the outdoor activities are just as thrilling. Artists will be showcasing their skills by transforming blocks of snow into art—and if you’re up for it, you can try your hand at an ice sculpting workshop.

I also can’t wait to go dashing through the snow-covered trails aboard their horse-drawn sleigh. It’ll be a fun, memorable experience for the entire family.

Tickets are now available, so head to the Festival du Voyageur website to secure your spot.
