Growing up, I thought golf was a bit boring. In fact, I’ve always considered it to be an “old man’s game.”
Not until my friend invited me to go golfing with a coach did I finally change my mind. Our coach was fun and accommodating and taught us all the basics.
In no time at all, we were able to improve our game. Of course, we’re not at the Tiger Woods level quite yet, but we can finally keep the ball on the fairway level.
It doesn’t matter if you’re a pro or a weekend golfer; here are the best golf coaches in Winnipeg that’ll definitely help lower your handicap!
How much does it cost to hire a golf coach in Winnipeg?

These deals can come in handy since we heard their golf lesson prices are a bit steep.
Our instructor, Colwyn, has been excellent
“Our experience with GOLFTEC has been great! We (my sons and I) have been going here for a couple of years now and enjoy going for our weekly practice sessions. All the staff have been very helpful and friendly! Our instructor is Colwyn, and he has been excellent. We’ve all shot our best rounds this past summer, shaving off several strokes! We can’t say enough good about our interactions with him, just a great guy. He’s very knowledgeable in teaching the techniques and fundamentals we need to work on to keep progressing our game. Thanks, Colwyn!”

First time at AVID, but it won’t be my last!
“My first time at AVID, but it won’t be my last! I went to an event arranged by Southside Golf Course for the ladies’ league. We had practice time on the “driving range”, golf tips with golf pro Brie (who’s amazing), and then a 9 Hole Texas Scramble. The AVID staff were great (Cory Ryan and Brie), drinks and pizza from Little Pizza Heaven were delicious. Southside staff (Jacklyn and Shael??) were wonderful.”

The Jr lessons are great, awesome instructors

Great place for teaching kids to golf
“Great place for teaching kids to golf or for a quick game. Friendly staff at the clubhouse. The golf course always seems to be first to open and last to close for the season. The driving range is fun and so convenient. You can get a pack of balls for the season. This year, I believe 25 buckets were 150 dollars. Also, mini golf, which is always fun, and they seem to keep it well-maintained. The restaurant has great food, and they will host events as well. Food is delicious, and the prices are very fair. Love the steak poutine. My personal favorite.”

Darren always checks in on our son
“Our family are first time members at Rossmere golf and country club 2025 for the first time and we are very impressed. The grounds are immaculate, the gardens and the gardener work very hard to keep the course beautiful with plants and flowers scattered throughout the course in such an organized way that it is truly impressive. The staff have been second to none and have made us feel very welcome as first-time members as well. This is something that I feel the need to really showcase, as it’s given us such a great feeling of community and fun every time we arrive at golf or for any event. Darren, one of the fabulous golf pros, knew us by name within the first week and always checks in on our son and us regularly when we see him at the range or in the clubhouse. We see him helping and coaching so much, we thought we should give him a special mention!!! All the guys that get our carts/bags ready are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable too!!!! The servers, cart girls, restaurant, and food are also very good, and we enjoy all of our time at Rossmere! Recommend this course and club by far!”
