Winnipeg’s Lyric Theater Offers Free Outdoor Movie Nights This August 2025
Summer is in full swing in Winnipeg, which means outdoor movie nights are upon us! In August, the Lyric Theater in Assiniboine Park will offer free film screenings every Friday at 6:30 PM and 8:45 PM.
Most moviegoers will bring their lawn chairs, but we like to spread a picnic blanket and get comfortable on the grass. Thanks to the large, high-quality screen, every spot feels like the best seat in the house.
Concession stands are available at the park, where you can buy popcorn, ice cream, and other classic movie treats. You can also pack your own snacks and drinks.
