Explore 44 Ethno-Cultural Pavilions at the 2025 Folklorama Festival in Winnipeg
Celebrate diversity in Winnipeg at the 2025 Folklorama Festival. Now in its 54th year, the annual event will feature 44 ethno-cultural pavilions across the city, which you can explore from August 3 to 16.
Some of our favorites from the Week 1 lineup are Brazil, Ireland, and Korea, which always have a party atmosphere going on. One of the latest additions to the festival, the Mabuhay Philippine pavilion, will make its debut in the first week.
In Week 2, you can explore the vibrant traditions and cultures of the First Nations, Cuba, Germany, and Japan, among many others. For the first time, you’ll also get to see the Modern Chinese pavilion.
While we do love watching the traditional dances and the colorful costumes, our favorite part of it all is the food. Many of the pavilions will even offer alcoholic beverages to go with your meal.
