During 1993 and 1994, there was a massive-scale closing of sports card shops in Canada. Only a few remained persistent during the restructuring, one of which is the CanCentral Sports Cards & Memorabilia.

We like the extensiveness of the cards featured here — from sports collectibles to non-sports-related cards like Pokémon and more. It has single cards, sets, and even sealed boxes that date back to the 1970s.
We also approve of the staff’s patience. Of course, being overwhelmed with a huge collection makes it a lot more difficult to decide what to pick.

Although it might seem that a lot is happening inside the store, the place is properly organized.
The lighting is intentionally made brighter, and the shelves are arranged in an orderly manner, so you’ll have an easier time navigating through the entire place.
The only thing we found to be a challenge here is its limited space. Since it is a small shop with great collections, it has a tendency to get crowded.

Joe Daley’s Sports & Framing has quite a reputation for being one of the top sports card shops in Winnipeg. So, we decided to give it a go and see if it’s worth the hype.
The first thing we noticed during our visit is the available free parking area. This is quite refreshing as most card shops rely on street parking alone — which is of course, not always available.
When we got in, we were welcomed by the staff who worked eagerly in getting us what we were looking for.
We appreciate that the crew did not focus on sale pressure, so our stay was considerably pleasant.
The deals are all reasonable given the quality of the cards sold here. It is always a huge plus to know that your money is worth the product that you’re purchasing.
The place is decently presentable. From the shelves to the floor, it is immaculately clean.
We also like the spacious gap given between shelves, so you won’t have to worry about possibly hitting the displays.
There’s a massive collection of hockey singles and sealed boxes available in this shop.
