Enjoy Free, Family-Friendly Activities at Winnipeg’s 2025 Canada Day Celebrations

Winnipeg’s 2025 Canada Day Celebration has it all—fireworks, live performances, family-friendly activities, and a first-ever Pitmaster Showdown. The event is free, so don’t miss out on the fun at the Princess Auto Stadium on July 1.

We’re looking forward to the annual tailgate party, which just keeps getting bigger and better every year. As of writing, we know that Tyler Joe Miller and Big Wreck are set to perform live, and more artists are expected to join the lineup in the coming weeks.

There will be a local market, food trucks, and activities for the entire family. Just like before, you can expect face painting, storytelling, inflatables, and other fun games.

The latest addition to the annual tailgating party is the Blue Bombers Pitmaster’s Showdown, which is Canada’s biggest BBQ Competition. Pitmasters from all over the country are coming together to showcase their skills and win awesome prizes.

Tickets to the 2025 Canada Day Celebration at the Princess Auto Stadium are free for all. The tailgating activities run from 12 PM to 5 PM, while the live performances take place from 5 PM to 10:30 PM.
