Your Guide to the Outlet Collection in Winnipeg, A Local’s Favorite for Affordable Luxury
Every few months or so, I pop in at the Outlet Collection to see what’s new. I always end up with a great haul of brand-name or designer items, without buyer’s remorse.
By far, my greatest find is a luxury bag in mint condition, which I bought for only half the price of the original. A total steal!
With over 100 stores, it has a little something for everyone. It’s no surprise that it’s a local favorite.
If you’ve yet to explore this shopping center, we’ll walk you through everything in this guide. We’ll share our favorite shops, restaurants, and amenities that’ll help you shop ‘til you drop.

In Winnipeg, high-end fashion is more accessible and affordable than you think.
Located along the intersection of Sterling Lyon Parkway and Kenaston Boulevard, you’ll find the Outlet Collection, the locals’ go-to for affordable luxury. It’s home to 100+ retailers, including Michael Kors, Ralph Lauren, Coach, Calvin Klein, and more.
There’s an abundance of off-season items, as well as outlet-exclusive collections. Discounts typically start at 30%, but they can reach up to 70% off during holidays and clearance sales.
Measuring 570,000 sq ft, it’s nearly half the size of CF Polo Park. They have wide hallways and plenty of comfortable seating areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for shoppers even during peak hours.
Best of all, they’ve got tasty eats at the food court and convenient amenities. If you’re looking for retail therapy, you could easily make a day of it.
Where Is the Outlet Collection, Winnipeg?

The Outlet Collection is located at 555 Sterling Lyon Parkway in the Southwest part of Winnipeg. It’s only a 20-minute drive from the airport and the downtown area.
Best Time to Go
The best time to visit the Outlet Connection in Winnipeg is early morning on weekdays, particularly from Tuesdays to Thursdays. This period sees fewer crowds, offering a more relaxed shopping experience.
How to Get to the Outlet Collection in Winnipeg

Drive: Only 15 minutes away from downtown, you can easily drive to the Outlet Collection and park right in front of the entrance. The fastest route is through Portage Avenue.

Where to Shop

At Guess Factory, you can buy jeans and all things denim without burning a hole through your pocket. They offer overstock and past-season items from their flagship stores at discounted prices.
But not to worry, you’re not stuck with last season’s leftovers. You also get to choose from trendy outlet-exclusive collections.
Even though they’re made with cost-friendly materials, they don’t skimp on the style. Surprisingly, ours have held up just as well as the full-price items we got from the main brand.
Michael Kors

Michael Kors is another must-visit shop at the Outlet Collection. Most of the products they sell are outlet-exclusive, which include accessories, clothes, shoes, bags, and more.
The craftsmanship and materials may differ slightly from what you see at flagship stores. Still, you’ll get that luxe sporty-chic aesthetic that the brand is known for at seriously discounted prices.
Before you head to the register, ask if they have a clearance section tucked away somewhere. It’s not always around, but when it is, we never come out empty-handed.
The Locals

The Locals is a luxury boutique brimming with homegrown goodies. It’s one of our favorite shops because of its eclectic mix of merchandise and, of course, reasonable prices.
We’ll pop in for a bar of artisanal soap, and the next thing we know, we’re walking out with three scented candles, a jar of BBQ rub, and a beer flight. They have everything and more!
Coach

Coach is one of the newest gems at the shopping center. You’ll find authentic items like luxury bags, clothes, and accessories from past seasons, as well as current outlet-exclusive collections.
Some of the items may have minor design flaws, like a stitch out of place, but these are part of that outlet charm. Just remember that these slight imperfections are the reason behind the markdowns.
There won’t be custom monograms and made-to-order services. But we can overlook that for an authentic Coach bag for half the original price.
Designer Shoe Warehouse

Phone: +12048155254
For brand-name and designer footwear sans the hefty price tag, the Designer Shoe Warehouse is a go-to. We like that they have trendy and seasonal items for women, men, and kids.
The downside is that the sizes are limited. You won’t always get the full color and style range found at the flagship stores.
So, if you spot a pair you love? You have to buy it—or else they’ll be gone the next time you swing by.
Where to Eat
New York Fries

Must-order: Poutine
All that shopping’s bound to make you hungry! If you want something to snack on while you’re walking around, you can get fresh-cut fries, hot dogs, and even poutine from New York Fries.
We like our fries hot, crispy, and slathered with Chipotle aioli. But why settle for one when you can have combos with gravy, spicy queso, and California seasoning?
Beyond their basic skin-on fries, they offer loaded options. They have toppings like sour cream and green onions, spicy queso, and of course, cheese curds and gravy.
Their signature gravy is lighter than the original beef iteration, with a light sweetness and peppery taste. It might not be the best in town, but it satisfies our cravings every single time.
ZA Pizza Bistro

Must-order: Peking Duck Pizza
ZA Pizza Bistro isn’t your regular pizza joint. They let you customize everything, from the pie dough and the sauce to the toppings.
Their Peking Duck Pizza is a best-seller for a good reason. Instead of the usual tomato base, it has a rich, slightly sweet sauce that perfectly complements the generous slices of duck.
Apart from the savory options, they’re known for their dessert pizzas here. The Oreo Explosion, with its crispy crust and vanilla ice cream, is an indulgent treat we like to share with friends.
A&W Canada

Must-order: Masala Veggie Burger
We all know A&W is everywhere in Canada, and the Outlet Collection is no exception. Their Teen Burger is a classic that never disappoints, but we crave their recent additions, especially the Masala Veggie Burger, the most.
Between the signature sesame buns, they add a crispy patty made with nanak paneer and spicy piri-piri sauce. It packs quite a punch, but the fresh tomatoes, lettuce, and onions help balance the heat.
Of course, you should get burgers with a side of onion rings. They always come out hot and perfectly crunchy.
