5 Best Prenatal Massage Salons in Winnipeg That Local Moms Totally Recommend
I know the saying that pregnant women glow, but I haven’t really seen it up close until I saw my neighbor. She was absolutely luminous!
When I complimented her, she laughed and said she regularly goes to a premium prenatal massage salon.
Unlike traditional therapeutic massage spots, they have therapists who specialize in making expectant mothers feel good, which they totally deserve.
This inspired me to write this article. After doing some research and interviewing a lot of pregnant women, I’ve rounded up the top prenatal massage salons in Winnipeg—check them out below.
How much do prenatal massages cost in Winnipeg?
1. Deep Roots Massage Therapy

Address: 350 North Town Road #330
Phone: +1 431-337-4162
Business hours:
- Mon – Fri: 9 AM–9 PM
- Sat – Sun: 10 AM–4 PM
Deep Roots Massage Therapy is owned by Rose, who has been in the massage scene since 2011. She has worked with everyone, from NHL stars to RWB dancers and Cirque du Soleil, so you know she can handle those pregnancy aches.
Her prenatal treatments are designed to boost your circulation and help manage that common pregnancy swelling in your limbs.
You can choose a session length between 30 and 90 minutes, and even request specialized prenatal pillows or to stay in a side-lying position.
The clinic itself features a beautiful separate relaxation lounge with plush seating and infused water—a perfect spot to kick back before or after your appointment.
Just a heads up, though. While the massage is world-class, the front desk service can occasionally be a bit chilly, or so we’ve heard.
Her technique was perfect and just what I needed
“I had a prenatal massage with Kiera, and she was absolutely fantastic! She was caring/thoughtful and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Her technique was perfect and just what I needed. I haven’t felt that relaxed after a massage in a long time. I recommend her to anyone and everyone. :)”

2. Foundations Massage

Address: 600 St Anne’s Rd #230
Phone: +1 204-221-0617
Business hours: Mon – Sat: 9 AM–8 PM
Foundations Massage is a collaborative group of care providers who focus on creating a total sense of balance for the mind and body.
You and your therapist will work together to find the best positioning for your prenatal massage. Then, he or she will help reduce anxiety and relieve those stubborn muscle aches and joint pains that come with pregnancy.
We like that their pregnancy massage is comparatively more affordable than their competitors’ (only $94 for 60 minutes).
To complement their prenatal massages, they also offer birth preparation sessions that can be held at your own home. These involve both birthing partners and teach movements to help the baby stay in a positive position.
Unfortunately, we’ve heard of therapists not showing up to scheduled appointments, which is a bit concerning.
Very precise in targeting my specific aches and pains
“I’ve been going to Dina for prenatal massages at least three times so far during this pregnancy. She has been amazing! She is also so kind and approachable. She’s been very precise in targeting my specific aches and pains during this pregnancy, and it has been a huge relief. I’m very happy to have found her! I will definitely recommend her to any of my future pregnant friends!”

Found all of the achy spots that come with pregnancy
“Just had my first prenatal massage with Dina and – WOW! She found all of the achy spots that come with pregnancy and did such a wonderful job. Dina is also warmhearted and approachable. Not to mention the Foundations space being calm and inviting. I’ve also seen Tarana during my previous pregnancy. She is equally great! Very happy with my experience!”

Phone: +1 204-415-5155
Business hours:
- Mon – Fri: 9 AM–9 PM
- Saturday: 9 AM–2 PM
- Sunday: 9 AM–4 PM
Equilibrium Massage Therapy and Wellness was founded by a Registered Massage Therapist with over 20 years of experience. The name itself reflects their mission to bring balance back to your body.
Designed to do more than just relax muscles, their prenatal massages also regulate hormones, flush toxins, and give your mood a boost.
Plus, you can’t go wrong with therapists who have pursued specialized post-graduate training to become certified in birth support. That means they have deep knowledge of pregnancy anatomy and any soft tissue changes.
You can even take advantage of their Birth Support Therapists, who offer on-call assistance and tailored techniques for your birth plan.
The only downside we heard about is that some of their therapists tend to arrive late to scheduled appointments.
Helped me so much with pain relief
“I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer for both massage and birth support. She was calm, caring, and made me feel so comfortable. Her prenatal and postpartum massages helped me so much with pain relief and relaxation. During labor, she supported me at the hospital with gentle massages, encouragement, and amazing emotional support. She also guided and reassured my husband, which meant a lot to us. I’m so grateful for her kindness and highly recommend her to any expecting or new mom! 💕”

4. The Pure Escape Massage

Phone: +1 204-488-0815
Business hours:
- Mon – Fri: 10 AM–8 PM

- Sunday: 10 AM–4 PM
For over 20 years, The Pure Escape Massage has been a staple on Corydon Avenue. This is not a surprise since every therapist here has completed a 2,200-hour course and is fully registered in Manitoba.
One of the coolest perks here is their specially designed pregnancy tables that let you lie safely and comfortably on your stomach. These are perfect for focusing on those trouble spots like your lower back, hips, and swollen ankles.
Their session options range from 60-minute massages up to 120-minute treatments.
And if you have someone you care about that needs this, you can grab a $100 gift card, and they’ll toss in a free 4-oz Pure Escape soy candle.
Just a quick note that while the credentials here are top-tier, some visitors felt that their prenatal massages were a tad ineffective.
Honestly, one of the best massages I’ve ever had
“I went for a prenatal massage this morning, and I’m so happy I did — it was my first time ever going for a prenatal massage, and just being able to lie on my stomach on the special table made me so happy. I saw Jon, and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. I felt completely safe with their COVID precautions, and there was hand sanitizer everywhere to use. The front desk staff was friendly, and booking another appointment took about two seconds. I’ll definitely keep coming back here. Pregnant mamas, give yourself a treat and get a two-hour massage!”

She just made me feel so much better
“When I was pregnant in 2021, I was so scared to have a prenatal massage, but once I finally got my first prenatal by my massage therapist. I felt so much better after and continued to attend until literally a few days before I had my baby. I felt that going to see my massage therapist, Shay it helped my labour to be a bit more comfortable. She just made me feel so much better about going and answered all the questions I had. I have been going to Pure Escape for the past 9+ years, and I even bring my oldest daughter, who is a competitive dancer, and with all the training she has, she needs these massages to help with the tightness she has in her hips, etc. The staff is incredible and super knowledgeable. I would 100% recommend Pure Escape to anyone I know. I was recommended to go there 9+ years ago after falling at work, and oh man, I’m so happy I did!”

Phone: +1 204-774-5521
Business hours:
- Mon – Fri: 9 AM–8 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM–4 PM
- Sunday: 10 AM–2 PM
Angela Peterson started Wolseley Wellness over 20 years ago, and it continues to be a heartwarming hub in the community.
Their pregnancy massage team is led by Master therapist Erin Peterson, an RMT who brings over a decade of specialized hands-on experience to every session.
His team’s treatments are safe for all trimesters and help in reducing anxiety and even symptoms of depression. They’re also designed to improve labor outcomes and give your newborn’s health a positive head start.

Gentle yet was able to put a good amount of pressure
“Was seen by Randi for my prenatal massage, and she was great! Listened to all my concerns and was able to address them through her massage. She was gentle yet was able to put a good amount of pressure to target problem areas. I was thoroughly satisfied and relaxed after my session with Randi. Would definitely recommend!”
