The 12 Best Winnipeg Airbnbs That Are Tempting to Move Into

The 12 Best Winnipeg Airbnbs That Are Tempting to Move Into

Airbnb lets you explore some of Winnipeg’s most unique properties while using them for nearly any purpose you want. Whether it’s a retreat or party venue you’re looking for, there’s something in the city you can book.

We’ve hopped through dozens of these places since Airbnb first went online, and we’ll show you our favorites.

1. TheLOFTonJAMES

TheLOFTonJAMES

TheLOFTonJAMES Airbnb is a century-old warehouse reborn and renovated into one of the most beautiful rentals in Winnipeg. It’s defined by its century-old timber beams, 12-foot-high ceilings, and industrial accents.

You’ll find tons of different designs that pay homage to the loft’s history. We found at least 20 during our stay, including an old pulley system redesigned to hold plants!

This Airbnb comes equipped with all the essentials like WiFi and a fully equipped kitchen, but it also comes with a 50-inch HDTV and beautiful views of the city skyline.

If you’re planning on visiting the Forks Market, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, the Children’s Museum, or the Manitoba Museum, then this loft is the best place you can stay. All of these are just a five-minute walk away!

It’s also worth mentioning that you get four complimentary tickets to both the Manitoba Museum and the Planetarium if you check-in.

2. Modern Condo – Osborne Village

Modern Condo - Osborne Village

This two-story condo is huge, has a great view of the Winnipeg skyline, and is a few minutes walk away from tons of bars, restaurants, and shops.

It’s also fine if you just stay in! We found that the kitchen was fully stocked with ingredients and kitchenware, so we never really had any urge to leave.

If you’re a pet owner, then you can bring your fur babies along. The condo is as pet-friendly as it gets—it’s clean and spacious, and there are tons of nearby parks for walks.

If we only had the money, we would never have checked out.

3. Cozy Treetop Suite in Wolseley

Cozy Treetop Suite in Wolseley

Wolseley is kind of like Winnipeg’s art neighborhood, and this Airbnb lets you enjoy the whole place in style! It’s a full-on house that’s smack dab in the middle of the neighborhood, with all sorts of galleries and theatres within walking distance.

We checked in here about three times in the past year, and each visit felt consistently peaceful. Despite being in the middle of the city, this house is very quiet and you can easily doze off on the soft queen bed during the day.

The house is evidently old but still super cozy, which kind of reminds us of staying at our grandma’s place but without the old-person smell. The kitchen’s stocked too so you can easily make grandma’s recipes!

4. OZ Condos Loft in the Village 304

OZ Condos Loft in the Village 304

OZ Condos is the place to be if you want to be near some of Winnipeg’s best coffee shops and restaurants. It’s a sun-filled condo that feels very clean and modern, almost like a comfy mental asylum.

Some nearby restaurants are The Grove and Cafe Carlo. We suggest taking out your orders and eating them at the Airbnb; you’ll feel like the richest person in Winnipeg eating salad in a modern home.

Our favorite part about this condo is the outdoor patio.

If you decide to check in, visit the nearby bars then host a small afterparty with your friends on the patio. It’ll give the most wholesome and friendly vibes that’ll easily make your night more special.

5. Eye Capturing Views

Eye Capturing Views

This Airbnb lets you stay at the heart of the Exchange District, Winnipeg’s giant shopping center. The condo is set across from the Canada Life Center and comes with enough to make your long and short stays as enjoyable as possible.

True to its name, this place has amazing views of the city with almost every room having large windows. The unit’s also set high up so you get really eye-catching views of the entire city.

One unforgettable thing we did during our stay was to set up a telescope on the balcony. Everything looked so much more detailed from way up.

We haven’t tried long stays here yet, but we can imagine the gym, rooftop, and stylish atmosphere of this Airbnb would make it worth shelling out money for.

6. Warehouse Loft in the Exchange District

Warehouse Loft in the Exchange District

The Warehouse Loft is another great Airbnb in the Exchange District and is best shared with a romantic partner. It’s got one bedroom for you comfy couples, but also comes with two beds just in case you’re on the verge of divorce!

Naturally, the rooftop is this Airbnb’s best feature. It’s fitted in a way that you can comfortably cook a romantic dinner while your date gazes at the beauty of Winnipeg’s architecture.

We’d like to add that this is also one of the few Airbnbs where the owner offers free breakfasts! No wonder this place is usually booked months in advance.

7. Jets Nest

Jets Nest

Jets Nest is where you go when you want to feel like a billionaire for less than $250 a night. This Airbnb’s maximum number of guests is just four, but it could easily fit 40 with how spacious it is.

When we first came here, we knew then and there that we had to extend our stay by at least a week. I mean, this place has a huge gym, a 360 view of the city, and a large rooftop patio fit for big dinner parties.

We’ll warn you now, it will be hard to readjust to normal life if you stay here for too long.

8. Luxe Oasis Retreat

Luxe Oasis Retreat

Luxe Oasis Retreat promises a spacious and family-friendly retreat for you and your friends. It’s got a game room and outdoor loungers facing a heated pool.

This Airbnb isn’t the place for wild house parties, mostly because of the mandated quiet hours past 9 PM.

There’s still plenty for you to do though, since this place is right beside the Niakwa Golf Course and St. Vital. We promise you’ll be too tired by nighttime to do anything crazy.

9. Bright & Premium Home

Bright & Premium Home

This Bright and Premium Airbnb is a bright and spacious place complete with a pool, a walk-in closet, and a fireplace. We’d say this place is best for quiet and peaceful stays and is an absolute no-go for parties.

This Airbnb is best described as the cheaper twin of the Luxe Oasis Retreat. The neighbors don’t tolerate loud noise, but we’re sure you’ll find more appropriate things to do here.

One of our favorites was when we binge-watched random stuff on the large TV. We sat by the fireplace and covered ourselves with the Airbnb’s extra pillows and had the coziest two days of our lives.

10. Breezy Point

Breezy Point

Breezy Point is a rental cabin right beside the Red River, best enjoyed as a BBQ venue with your close friends. Nothing’s more relaxing than chilling in the hot tub while someone grills something even the river’s fish can smell.

The place isn’t too big, so your only options for private time are either taking a stroll by the lake or waiting until everyone’s asleep. The bedrooms have bunk beds too, so you might feel cramped if you stay inside.

On the outside though, you’ll have all the nature and space you could ever want. Try resting on the lounge chairs or on the outdoor swinging couch at night while enjoying Selkirk’s clear skies!

11. South Winnipeg Wildwood Park

South Winnipeg Wildwood Park

The South Winnipeg Wildwood Park Airbnb will help you feel rich for a few nights with its spacious indoors and beautiful outdoors. It’s located right in the middle of Crescent Park, so there’s you can do plenty during your stay.

One of our favorite nearby spots is the Thermea Spa, which is this Nordic spa complete with large hot and cold pools. If spas aren’t your thing though, there’s also the Crescent Drive Golf Course and some cross-country ski trails you can check out.

Whatever you choose to do, your body will be begging for rest and there’s no better place to rest than at this Airbnb. Just lie down on one of the king-sized beds and enjoy the 50-inch TV until you fall asleep.

12. 40-acre Country Home

40-acre Country Home

This huge 40-acre home in Winnipeg’s countryside is perfect for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature as far as the eye can see.

Everything you could ever need is provided with each booking, so the only real reason to leave is if you’re going to check out the Niakwa Country Club.

This can be a con for some people, but the owners sometimes stay here during the day to work from home, which can be a bit uncomfortable.

They’re very friendly people and won’t police you though, so you can easily consider them as your 11th guest!
