These 7 Sage Creek, Winnipeg restaurants will make you a regular in no time!
Being a self-proclaimed foodie in Winnipeg means I’ve got a pretty intense hobby: finding the best places to eat in every corner of town.
It’s like my own personal treasure hunt, except instead of gold, the prize is a perfectly grilled burger or a mouthwatering slice of pizza.
One evening, I was chatting with a friend about my latest food escapade when I confessed I’ve got a serious case of FOMO (fear of missing out) on all the incredible eats around Sage Creek.
So, we decided to turn that FOMO into a mission. We roamed the neighborhood, sampling dishes and chatting with locals, determined to uncover the top spots where flavor meets satisfaction.
After indulging in enough deliciousness to make a food critic jealous, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite Sage Creek restaurants that truly shine. These spots have become my go-tos for satisfying every type of craving.
Ready to embark on this tasty journey with me? Let’s dig in!

- Earth Lovers
- Greek Pizza

This place is near and dear to me, as it’s my go-to for any late-night cravings.
They have lots of pizza options, and one of my favorites is the Santa Lucia Special. It’s loaded with pepperoni, back bacon, mushrooms, onions, and green peppers.
Oh, just thinking about it makes my mouth water!
But if you’re leaning more towards something plant-based, they have this Earth Lovers pizza, a roasted garlic sauce that really ties together the mushrooms, red onions, spinach, and marinated eggplant, all crowned with vegan mozzarella.
It’s so good, even non-vegans can’t resist it!

Must-order menu items:
- Jumbo Dynamite
- Double Salmon
- Hiro Special Roll
Price range: $$ – average
For Japanese food cravings, I can’t recommend Hiro Sushi enough. Seriously, if you haven’t tried their Double Salmon, you’re missing out on one of the best bites in Winnipeg—or maybe even in all of Manitoba!
I’ve been coming here for so many years now, and let me tell you, the quality of this dish has never wavered. Eight pieces of raw salmon, perfectly paired with creamy avocado, a hint of chili sauce, and just the right touch of mayo.
And if that wasn’t enough, they top it off with more salmon, crunchy crumbs, spicy mayo, and another dash of chili sauce. The balance of flavors is nothing short of perfection!
But that’s not the only star on the menu. The Hiro Special Roll is another favorite of mine.
We’re talking about shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, and crabstick, all wrapped up and then topped with unagi, teriyaki, spicy mayo, crispy flakes, and a sprinkle of fish eggs.

Must-order menu items:
- Signature Chicken
- K-Crunch Sandwich
- Crispy Chicken Twist Buffalo
Price range: $$ – average
There are a bunch of Mary Brown’s Chicken branches in the city, but the one in Sage Creek probably has the best Signature Chicken I’ve ever tasted.
It’s two juicy pieces of chicken, hand-cut and breaded just right with their special recipe. You get to pick between original or spicy, but if you’re like me and can’t decide, why not go for a mix of both?
They even throw in some of those famous Taters, a small salad, and a pop to wash it all down.
Now, if you’re in the mood for something with a bit of flair, you can’t go wrong with the K-Crunch Sandwich.
It’s got this Korean-inspired twist, with a boneless fillet drenched in a garlic soy glaze, topped with spicy coleslaw, spicy mayo, pickles, and crispy onion bits, all tucked into a soft brioche bun.
And of course, it comes with the usual Taters and pop combo.

Must-order menu items:
- Sweet Pandesal
- Tapsilog
- Pork Belly Kare Kare
Price range: $$ – average
I love the atmosphere at Tito Boy Restaurant—it’s intimate and warm, like you’re eating at your aunt’s house!
I’ve been here myself, and their Sweet Pandesal is something I always come back for. It’s three warm, sweet breakfast buns served up with a side of their signature ube cream cheese.
Believe me, it’s the perfect way to start your meal!
The restaurant also has a selection of main dishes, all of which are incredibly tasty, but my favorite is the Pork Belly Kare-Kare. I’m talking crispy pork belly with eggplant, string beans, and bok choy, all swimming in this rich, savory peanut sauce.
And here’s a little insider tip: they’ve got some fun-themed days too.
Taco Tuesdays are a blast, but if you’re around on the weekend, their Karaoke Brunch is where the real magic happens—good food, good music, and maybe even a chance to show off your singing chops.

Must-order menu items:
- Diana’s Deluxe
- Pomodoro Piccolo Flatbread
- Greek Salad
Price range: $$ – average
Another great contender for classic pizzas is Diana’s Cucina & Lounge. If it’s your first time here, you must try Diana’s Deluxe; it’s a crowd favorite for a reason!
This dish features all the good stuff—marinara sauce, a gooey blend of mozzarella and cheddar, dry-cured pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, green peppers, onions, and—here’s the kicker: maple-smoked crumbled bacon.
But if you want something a bit lighter, go for Pomodoro Piccolo Flatbread. It’s got pesto, mozzarella, and this creamy garlic’n’chive havarti that just melts perfectly.
Then, they add some cherry tomatoes, fresh basil, a pinch of sea salt, and a sprinkle of parmesan to bring everything together.

I’ve always had a soft spot for sushi, especially when it’s got that perfect blend of sweet and tangy. So, when I found this little gem in Sage Creek, I knew I was in for a treat.
The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an aroma that’s bound to lure you back again and again!
And if you’re going to ask me, their French Kiss Roll is my number one. It’s a mouthwatering mix of fish eggs, cream cheese, avocado, smoked salmon, tuna, crab meat, and deep-fried shrimp, all draped in teriyaki and the house’s secret sauce.
But it doesn’t just end with sushi; there’s more to that. They also serve different kinds of tempura, like Creamy Mushroom Tempura. It’s six pieces of deep-fried bliss with mushrooms, shrimp, cream cheese, and green onion, all drizzled in a sweet chili sauce.

- Calamari Salad
Price range: $$ – average
Can’t have a list of Sage Creek restaurants without the OPA! of Greece. It’s pretty much a staple around here, and once you’ve tried it, you’ll know why.
As the name implies, it’s the go-to spot for anyone craving solid Greek food. Their Pita Wrap is what people keep raving about—tender souvlaki wrapped up in a warm pita, all drizzled with their famous OPA! tzatziki.
The best part? You get to pile on all the good stuff: onions, tomatoes, lettuce, fresh jalapenos, and feta cheese.
Oh, and let’s not overlook the crispy, golden OPA! fries that come on the side—they’re the perfect match.
But if you’re feeling extra hungry, the OPA! Platter is a good choice too. It’s got everything: a perfectly grilled souvlaki skewer, rice, an oven-roasted potato, and your choice of salad—Greek, Caesar, or Santorini.
Plus, you get pita wedges and more of that amazing tzatziki.
