This motel is near Thunder Rapid Amusement Park, Camp Manitou, and Assiniboine Park Zone, among other attractions that are great for families traveling with kids. Since Motel 6 is a roadside establishment, there is no need to worry about easily getting on the highway.

What we like the most about Motel 6 is their modern take on motels. Their exterior and interior have a contemporary and clean appearance.

Motel 6 rooms are furnished with a wide assortment of amenities. Some of these are free high-speed Wi-Fi, a 50” flat panel TV, a mini-fridge, and free local telephone calls.

They also have rooms with a kitchenette that has all the basic stuff needed for cooking. Moreover, these rooms are also pet-friendly, so this motel should be on your list if you’re traveling with your fur friends.

Motel 6 also features a pool and hot tub available to all of their guests. In addition, they have a large free parking lot which we think is essential for every road traveler.

Another thing that we’re impressed with about Motel 6 is that they have accessible rooms. These come with a roll-in shower which is beneficial for guests in wheelchairs.

Motel 6 also features a meeting room, so if you need to present your business idea, this place is an ideal option.

However, we think their prices are a bit expensive. Their room charges range from $125.00-$135.00.

Nonetheless, with the quality of their rooms and services, you’ll surely get your money’s worth. We’d also like to mention that Motel 6 has won awards for their services–one of the most recent is the Heart of Service Award 2017.

Another thing that we like about Super 8 is the modern design of their rooms. Each room has its signature black-and-white headboard art featuring the local Winnipeg scene.

Although, it’s a drawback that their rates are more expensive. The rate for a one-night stay starts at $120.00.

Despite that, we think that their 15% discount for military guests and their families makes them more accessible for everyone.

Queen Bee Hotel aims to provide quality service with a clean and calm environment to all their guests. With their accessible location, they’re one of the go-to hotels in Winnipeg for road travelers.

Queen Bee Hotel is situated near the University of Manitoba, and it’s a 5-minute walk to almost any attraction and places you might need for your trip.

This establishment is close to the Victoria General Hospital, Winnipeg Transit, and Outlet Collection, just to name a few.

We think that this place is an advantage for travelers with different purposes since Queen Bee Hotel is close to cultural venues, hospitals, entertainment venues, and corporate buildings.

We also like that Queen Bee Hotel rooms come with amenities that make your stay comfortable. Each room has a 32” flat panel TV, free WiFi, microwave and mini-fridge, and air conditioning and heating, just to name a few.

This place also offers complimentary parking for their guests, which is a great factor for most travelers. Aside from that, they also provide free continental daily and weekly breakfast for guests.

However, this hotel doesn’t have too many room options for guests. They only have 1-queen bed and 2-queen bed offerings.

However, their average rate is relatively affordable. Their 1-queen bed is priced at $79.00 per night.

Just take note that this place is a two-story building and doesn’t have a lift, so if mobility is an issue, you might want to reconsider.

Regardless, we still think that Queen Bee Hotel is one of the best motels in Winnipeg because of their kind and helpful staff.

Very reasonably priced, great place to rest up for a night

“The rooms were very nice and clean, the staff were friendly, and the location is great. Parking at back is small but still was able to park our truck and trailer back there which was great. It had picknic tables, all basic amenities and a/c. Very reasonably priced, great place to rest up for a night.”Natalie Miller, Googe Reviews

Rooms are clean and updated

“Rooms are clean and updated. Excellent water pressure in the bathroom. Every staff person was extremely nice. Was in town for the Manitoba Marathon and staff were more than willing to accommodate a later check out the day of the race. For the standard rate in the Winnipeg area for hotels, this place is definitely a bargain without any of the negatives you fear when booking a less expensive hotel. Would absolutely stay here again.”Brandon Farber, Google Reviews

Located on Pembina Hwy, St. Norbert Hotel is a full-service hotel that features a bar, a liquor store and cafe for everyone.

This hotel is also accessible to some of Winnipeg’s attractions, such as the University of Manitoba and Southwood Golf Course, so this place is ideal if you have business around those areas.

We like that St. Norbert Hotels comes with straightforward room amenities. Their rooms include a flat-screen TV, a mini-refrigerator, wireless internet, and complimentary coffee from their cafe.

We also like that their rate is low-cost. Their queen room’s rate starts at $85.00 per night. They’re also offering monthly rates for a more extended stay.

What’s impressive about St. Norbert Hotel is their bar and beer store which is a bonus factor. This is an ideal place for guests who are fond of nightlife and good food.

However, that might be a drawback, too. Since this hotel features a pub with live entertainment every Thursday and Friday, it might be a problem if you prefer a more serene stay.

They’re also available for two kinds of rooms only – double rooms and queen rooms. We think that their rooms aren’t ideal for guests traveling with kids since their rooms don’t offer entertainment amenities except for the TV.

Despite that, we think that St. Norbert Hotel is a great place to stay if you want to experience the nightlife in Winnipeg.

Comfort Inn offers many room options for their guests. They have accessible queen-bed rooms, two double beds, and a bedroom suite to choose from.

Their rooms are spacious and furnished with a 32” flat-screen, fridge, hairdryers, irons, and ironing board. Some of their rooms also come with drive-up access, which is helpful if you need easy access when loading up your baggage.

Although, you might want to keep in mind that this place doesn’t have an elevator–which we think is a drawback for those with mobility issues.
