The Wolseley Company is noteworthy for its plumbing, waterworks, HVAC/R installation, and industrial piping services. 

We were impressed at the array of brands their store carries, such as American Standard, Kohler, and Bemis. On top of that, they also have several models, from wall-hung to macerating toilets.

With over 150 locations, it’s also worth mentioning that they can deliver all over the country. So, you won’t have to worry about lugging your brand-new toilet all the way home.

Another added convenience is their online store. Here, you’ll find each item with detailed descriptions of which accessories and components it’ll work best with.

However, we found it odd that the store still features unavailable items (with some products already being phased out). Nevertheless, we like how the store provides suggestions on similar models that buyers can get instead.

We were also disappointed that prices are only displayed to members of Wolseley. You would have to apply to access its prices and exclusive perks.

From what we experienced, registering for membership is inconvenient and quite daunting for potential casual buyers. You’ll need to put in your business details, bank references, and trade references to be able to register.

Alternatively, you can visit their onsite stores. In our opinion, this is ideal for customers looking to find inspiration from their showrooms and bathroom setups.

Dynasty Bathrooms & Kitchen Centre is known for doing countertops, shower doors, tiled walls and floors, and toilets and bathtub installations. 

We explored its online store and it currently carries 13 toilet brands such as Toto, Kohler, Caroma, and American Standard, among others. 

The store even carries toilets with quirky shapes, such as square and round ones, which we think are perfect for adding geometric accents to otherwise plain bathrooms.

If you’re looking for design inspiration, Dynasty has virtual and physical showrooms available. 

From our perspective, the virtual showroom was quite fun to explore as it gives customers a 360-degree tour of the different bathroom setups. 

But if you prefer seeing and getting to feel the real thing, dropping by either the North or South physical showrooms will be a better alternative.

Note that you’ll need to pre-book an appointment before visiting the showroom. This step seems inconvenient, but we think it’s ideal as you’ll avoid an influx of visitors from cramping the showroom.

A downside to Dynasty is that you can only have your items shipped only by appointment and only on weekdays. 

For larger items, it’s best to get them at the North Showroom as the other branch doesn’t ship larger items. You’ll also need to schedule for pick-up first before having your items delivered.

In case you get the wrong toilets delivered or didn’t like what you bought, you may return them to Dynasty, but with a restocking fee.

You will need to pay up to 35% of each of the items’ selling prices for the company to take the items back, which can be costly if you need to return more than one unit.

Items for return are also subject to managers’ approval, which means you’ll need to wait before you can take what you’ve bought back to the store.

Robinson Lighting & Bath is a locally-owned store that popular brands of toilets such as  Kohler, Duravit, Foremost, and American Standard. 

We also like how it carries unique toilet models, such as wall-hung, bolted, elongated, and square-shaped types, for those who prefer quirky bathroom interiors.

To date, Robinson doesn’t offer installation and maintenance services as it is currently focused on providing bathroom and kitchen supplies. 

For us, this is quite inconvenient since you’ll need to enlist the help of a third party to get your toilets installed.

What we love about this store is that many of its toilet varieties are ready to ship, which means you won’t have to wait too long to get your desired toilets. 

You can also pre-order newer models or make special orders of toilets and accessories that are already rare.

We also love the beautiful bathroom displays at Robinson’s showrooms. From our perspective, exploring these setups helps in selecting the right toilets and other bathroom components.

Now, shopping here can be a little tricky. For one, Robinson’s online store does not accept debit card transactions at the moment, and only accommodates Visa, MasterCard, or American Express credit cards.

Another downside is that staff will require two business days to review refund requests. You’ll also need to wait for seven to 14 business days for your refund to be processed and returned to you.

If you’re looking for unique toilet designs that will set your bathroom apart from others, then GreenSlade is the designer and bathroom supplier for you.

Since 2005, the design duo behind this company has provided stunning interiors for kitchens and bathrooms in homes across Winnipeg.

A slight drawback though is that it doesn’t have an online store at the moment, which we think is inconvenient since customers will need to go to its physical store to get a look at its toilet models.

On the bright side, its website has a list of its partner suppliers for bathroom fixtures and their websites.

We looked into its inventory and found brands that boast handcrafted and well-designed toilets, sinks, tiles, faucets, bathtubs, and shower heads.

Some featured toilet brands include Simas Italy, Produit Neptune, and Crosswater London. 

A light downside though to these brands is that it has a smaller pool of toilet options compared to standard brands. 

On the bright side, the store also carries popular names such as Kohler and Duravit. For us, these are also more convenient to get ahold of and may offer similar toilet styles to what the unique international names offer.

Perhaps our favourite part is its beautiful showroom display. We explored the place and found stunning samples of bathroom setups that cater to traditional and contemporary home interiors.

We also appreciate the owners for being present at the store to help anyone looking for efficient and stunning designs for their bathrooms and kitchens.
